ASIST is a two-day workshop designed for individuals  interested in learning more about suicide prevention. In this  evidence-based training, you will learn suicide first-aid techniques to  help a person with thoughts of suicide stay safe and seek further help  as needed. Participants learn to use a suicide intervention model to:

Identify persons with thoughts of suicide

Seek a shared understanding of reasons for dying and living

Develop a safe plan based upon a review of risk

Prepare for follow-up

Become involved in suicide-safer community networks

This class is primarily offered for First Responders and their family members aged 16 or older wanting to make their community safer from suicide!

This is an in-person training; we will be strictly following all  mandated COVID prevention protocols for everyone’s health and safety.
