About the Event

This 90 minute training is designed to help First Responders, Medical Practitioners and

Medical and Public Safety leadership to recognize and respond effectively to the Opioid

crisis within these two professional groups. The Opioid Crisis training will explore the

current Opioid misuse challenges First Responders and Medical Practitioners may

experience at work and at home and how these challenges can manifest as an Opioid Use

Disorder. It will also discuss the challenges with the Chronic Pain and PTSD comorbidity
